A Letter from Renovate Construction regarding Covid-19
Renovate has always taken safety seriously. We comply with industry safety standards and we have weekly field meetings with our team members to emphasize safe procedures and practices. Every one of our employees goes through the OSHA 30 training, a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry.
With the reality of COVID-19, our most pressing concern is to protect our team and our clients.
Our team has been trained and updated in the most current procedures to effectively avoid and prevent exposure to COVID-19. We have installed hand washing stations on our job sites, and ensure that hand sanitizer is also available to our employees. Renovate provides all of its employees with masks and training on how to properly wear those masks. Employees must wear masks at all times and this policy is strictly enforced.
All of our employees have been briefed extensively on how to best keep themselves and their families protected, which includes notifying management if they or any of their family members either have symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19.
During the remodeling process we maintain social distancing and, most importantly, we are able to separate our crew from clients during construction. Each job site is unique, and we put procedural plans in place to keep a physical barrier between our on-site crew and our clients. Additionally, we utilize telephonic or video conferencing to update clients and subcontractors and we arrange for material delivery to site to avoid exposure at supply stores.
Renovate Construction has always provided and continues to provide Safe & Sick Leave to our employees above and beyond the level required in Seattle for companies of our size. We also offer our employees medical and dental insurance packages. We feel this is the best way for us to do our part to help keep everyone healthy and provide a sustainable quality of life for our employees.
